Case Study 1

Client: A leading global technology solution provider to the gaming industry (circa 7,500 staff)

The Challenge:  Our client retained us to locate a member of their senior team for a major customer account; a highly visible role.  They required an exquisite blend of skills; a hybrid between a CTO, Chief Technologist and Systems Engineer.  This was an incredibly challenging engagement that required excellent judgement due to the rarity and uniqueness of the required skill-set.

The Solution:  We recommended an executive search approach and that the role was renamed to ‘Enterprise Architect’ as this reflected the person profile more closely.  We set about creating a target list of all possible individuals (active & passive) that could meet the requirement.  Through utilisation of a meticulous and methodical search process, and a couple of working weekends, we presented a shortlist of 4 candidates within a 2-week timeframe.  We managed a long and complex interview process involving top-level executives in UK & USA.  The successful candidate was recommended to us by an existing contact and the process from initial briefing to offer took less than 6 weeks.
Case Study 2

The Client:  A Global Tier 1 Telecommunications Service Provider (over 10,000 staff)

The Challenge:  To locate a Head of Data Centre Operations to meet challenging requirements.  The client had been searching for this candidate for over 6 months via their preferred supplier list (PSL).  

The Solution:  We undertook a proactive search utilising our network of contacts to uncover potential candidates.  We were surprised to find that so few prominent individuals had been approached by our competitors.  Four candidates were presented to our client of which one was successfully hired.  The entire process took less than 8 weeks from initial interview to start date and needless to say, the hiring manager was surprised and pleased with the result.
